We had a fantastic stay at City Backpackers! The location was very central, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The staff, especially Anna, were incredibly helpful and gave us great recommendations for tours and local attractions. We were even able to leave our backpacks at the hostel while we went on a tour. The hostel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had hot showers and they even provided towels. we highly recommend staying at City Backpackers for a comfortable and convenient stay in Saigon.

Stayed at City Backpackers in Ho Chi Minh City and had a great experience. The location was perfect, within walking distance to attractions and the bus station. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. Despite ongoing construction outside, I still enjoyed my stay. The facilities were great, with a big comfortable bed, a fridge, and a TV in the room. The included breakfast, with free omelettes, was a nice bonus. I would recommend this hostel for its great value for money and convenient location.

I stayed at City Backpackers for 3 nights on a solo trip to explore the city. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the major tourist attractions. The place was spotlessly clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave me great advice on navigating the city and even let me catch up on some much-needed sleep when I arrived early in the morning. The amenities were excellent, with clean towels, shampoo, and body wash provided. The breakfast was simple but delicious, and the wifi was the most reliable I've experienced in Vietnam.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

During our stay at City Backpackers, we had a great experience overall. The spacious and comfortable bunk beds provided a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The free breakfast offered a decent variety of options, although it could have been more diverse. We appreciated the convenient location and the 24-hour check-in availability. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the lack of privacy curtains for the upper bunk beds and the occasional noise from cleaning staff, we found the hostel to be a good value for money. I would recommend this hostel for budget travelers looking for a central location in Ho Chi Minh City.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The included breakfast was also a nice touch, with options for different styles of eggs and a tasty sandwich loaf. The beds were comfortable, the facilities were clean, and I appreciated the rule of taking off shoes upon entering the venue. The room temperature was perfect, thanks to the well-functioning ventilators. a great hostel experience.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is perfect, just a short walk away from the bustling Bui Vien street, yet quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, always providing me with the information I needed. The room was always cleaned promptly and the free breakfast was a nice touch. They even organized a shuttle to and from the airport for a reasonable price. a great experience for me and my friends who love going out at nights.
Felt totally relaxed, no complaints whatsoever.

This hostel provided helpful information upon check-in and had clean rooms/bathrooms/kitchen/lobby. the free and tasty breakfast was a great bonus, and the black-out curtains in the room worked extremely well. the key location allowed for easy access to everything by foot.
The noise from the continuous motorcycle traffic outside was a downside. the AC unit positioned at the top bunk resulted in cold air blasting on you all night due to other guests' preferences.

City Backpackers was the perfect choice for my husband and me. the room we booked was a double ensuite, and it was comfortable and clean. the beds were super cozy, and the room itself was spacious and airy. the staff at the hostel were extremely helpful and friendly, and they made us feel right at home. One of the things I loved about the hostel was how clean it was. Everything was spotless, and it really added to the overall pleasant experience. I also appreciated the fact that the hostel had a policy of taking off shoes before entering the venue. It made the place feel even cleaner and more comfortable. the location of the hostel was another major advantage. It was just a couple of minutes away from the famous Bui Vien street and close to other main landmarks. Upon arrival, we were given a map and helpful directions to all the important cultural sites in the city. Cons: Nothing, all excellent! 👍.

I loved the convenient location of the hostel, it was close to Bui Vien Street but still quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. One big advantage was the free water refill per day, it was a great way to stay hydrated without having to constantly buy bottled water.
The occasional sewer smell that would come from the bathroom sink when the water was turned on. It wasn't a huge issue, but it did take away from the overall experience.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of the city. We were able to walk to most of the attractions we wanted to visit. The room was a decent size and the warm shower was a plus. It was nice to have a comfortable and clean space to come back to after a long day of exploring.- The variety of breakfast options was great. We had about 8 different choices to choose from, which made for a good start to our day.
The noise from the bar downstairs was quite loud, especially if you wanted to go to bed early. The music played until at least midnight, making it a bit challenging to get a good night's sleep.

The private rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with windows, a balcony, TV, and a good working bathroom. The location was central and convenient, within walking distance of all the main sights. The staff were friendly and provided useful information about the city.
There was a lack of communal space for socializing, which made it difficult to meet new people when staying in a private room. The noise level at times was a bit disruptive, with road works and a nearby disco on weekend nights causing disturbances.
